We are committed to the belief that every individual should have the opportunity to live up to their full potential. The Able Trust supports efforts to help individuals with disabilities find, maintain and advance in meaningful and sustainable employment. Work is not only a means of income and independence but a pathway to prosperity, to community and connection, and purpose.

The mission of The Able Trust is to be a key leader in providing people with disabilities opportunities for successful employment and our strategic direction and governance is made possible by a dedicated Board of Directors.

  • Disability Employment Awareness Month
  • The High School High Tech program that helps students with disabilities explore post-secondary and career development opportunities
  • Research on persons with disabilities in Florida’s workforce

The Able Trust is a public 501(c) 3 charity that promotes employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Florida.  We accomplish our work through generous donations from individuals, businesses, foundations, and other collaborative partners.  We support vocational rehabilitation programs by promoting employment opportunities, inclusion, and awareness across the state of Florida, grants to community partners, career development through education collaboration, and work with businesses to be ready-to-hire.
