Vivre La Fantasie at The Able Trust's Fifth Annual Gala in Palm Beach

Join The Able Trust on Saturday, November 2, 2002 for our annual Gala at Mar-a-Lago, an exciting black-tie event famed for launching the Palm Beach social season. This year, guests will be treated to all the fanfare of a Parisian experience as the Gala brings the Moulin Rouge to life at the historic Mar-a-Lago Club, Donald Trump's crown jewel on the Gold Coast. The delectable five-course fare, a superior silent and live auction, spectacular décor, and first-class entertainment are all part of the appeal for the evening. The fifth annual event will raise funds for The Able Trust endowment and participating endowment affiliate agencies.

Mrs. George E. Batchelor of Miami will serve as this year's Gala Chair in memory of her late husband, Mr. George E. Batchelor, grand benefactor for The Able Trust Gala. Lieutenant Governor Frank Brogan will serve as the honorary chair, along with celebrity committee members Donald Trump and Mr. and Mrs. Bob and Jill Kuechenberg. Gala Committee members include Ms. Florence Bonsuk, chair, and Mrs. Sherra Payne, auction chair, Ms. Margarita Abrishami, Mr. Robert L. Billingslea, Ms. Michele Jacobs, Ms. Beverlee Miller, Mr. Dennis McNenney, Ms. Jeannie Roberts and Ms. Sandy Robinson. Sponsors for the event include JFK Medical Center/Palms West Hospital/Columbia Hospital, Walt Disney World Co., AmSouth Bank, Bloomingdale's Palm Beach Gardens, Bvlgari, VIVE Magazine and Guerlain, Paris.

Eight endowment affiliate agencies will participate and have named a supporter to serve as their Committee Honoree. These include Ms. Pamela Dorwarth, Children's Haven and Adult Community Services, Inc.; Ms. Rosanna Lippen, Florida Council for the Blind; Mr. Kieran Kilday, The Arc of Palm Beach County; Mr. Robert Kruger, Victory Living Programs; Ms. Beverlee Miller, Palm Beach Habilitation Center; Ms. Jill Pando, Brain Injury Association of Florida; Mr. & Mrs. Dick & Sally Robinson, Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County; Mr. & Mrs. James & Sally Spencer, Abilities Foundation, Inc.; and Ms. Carole E. Zegel, The Center for Florida's Children.
